The Pride of Breland

In Callestan’s heyday, this was a grand Inn serving rich merchants and foreign guests visiting the merchantile heart of Sharn. Now the towers have grown tall and left Lower Dura in their perpetual shadow.
Faded wall paintings, high ceilings, grand staircases and spacious upper rooms testify to that bygone age, while the smoke haze, creaky ad hoc mezzanine floor and rodent population clearly indicate the present status of Lower Dura.
Despite this, the ale is un-watered and the food adequate.

Ten-man Tower

A former watch tower named for the ten gallows cages which hang around it.

The Laughing Dragon

This Callestan dreamlily den and bar is a run down dive squashed into an un-lit alley at the ground floor of two towers. A faded picture of an open-mouthed dragon with its head thrown back adorns the door. The cracking and flaking plaster on the walls reveals wooden beams at frequent intervals around the sides and rear of the common room, while to the front the plaster peels off from the stone wall. The pall of smoke collected under the low roof obscures the hanging lanterns resulting in frequent curses as tall patrons knock their heads.
